Hello and welcome, you have reached the front page of my DeviantArt profile!

Can I use your drawings as a wallpaper?
If it's for private use, then yes (e.g. desktop wallpaper on your own computer). You don't even have to ask for my permission separately for this. But for using my drawings anywhere in public, ask for my permission first. This works well as the genaral rule (icons/avatars are an exception).
Can I use your drawings as an avatar/icon?
If you want to use my drawing as an avatar/icon on forums, Steam, Skype and places alike, I have nothing against that as long as it doesn't involve roleplaying with the character(s) seen in the image. I also require you to credit back to me [either include my name "Neonspider" and/or a link to my deviantArt profile]. If you can't do that, then at least be honest when someone askes you where the image is from and who made it.
IMPORTANT: If the image includes other than my own characters, you should always ask a permission from the character's original owner and from me, because the image could be a commission (= someone paid for it, so it would be unfair the let you use it for free anywhere + some people don't like seeing their characters used as icons on someone else's profile).
Can I roleplay with your characters?
No, I won't allow roleplaying with my characters, because I have certain backgrounds and stories for all my characters and I don't want people to get confused about these after reading some roleplay, which could differ a lot from the stories I've created for the character.
Can I at least use your character design if I rename the character?
No, that could still cause confusion.
Can I repost your drawings or post them outside DeviantArt (to Tumblr for example)?
As stated in the first question: For using my drawings anywhere in public, ask for my permission first. You can send me a note where you tell which drawing(s) you want to post and where.
